Cartier Santos Carree Ghost

Cartier Santos Carrée ref. 2960 in stainless steel, Large Model (LM/GM), from the 1980s–1990s. Historical note: the late-’70s relaunch of the Santos established the squared Carrée case with exposed screws and an integrated bracelet—codes that came to define modern steel Cartier.

This example features a “Ghost” dial—a naturally matured slate-to-silver grey that gives the watch a calm, minimalist presence under the sapphire crystal. It wears slim and neatly under a cuff. Inside is Cartier’s automatic cal. 077. Fitted to its original integrated stainless-steel Cartier bracelet with Cartier-signed clasp. Note: the serial number has been polished off over time, something that can occur on vintage Santos cases.

Condition: good, honest wear with crisp geometry; dial presents clean, coherent “ghost” tonality. Scope:Cartier box (no papers).
