Rolex Datejust ref. 1601/8 in 18k yellow gold, 36 mm, 1970s. Fluted bezel, plexiglass, and the automatic cal. 1570 with date. The dial is grey sunburst with applied gold batons and matching baton hands—clean, versatile look.
Condition: case shows honest wear with readable fluting; plexi remains clear. Dial is in very nice condition with no cracks or stains; hands and markers match in tone. For transparency: the serial number between the lugs is largely worn from past polishing, a common vintage occurrence.
