Rolex Datejust ref. 16238 in 18k yellow gold, 1989 (L388xxx). 36 mm case with fluted bezel, sapphire crystal and the 3135 automatic movement. Fitted with a mahogany wood dial—a configuration seen far less often on Datejust, as wood dials were more commonly delivered on Day-Date.
Condition: case shows light, honest wear with crisp fluting; sapphire is clear. Wood dial in good condition with no cracks. Dial is non-luminous; hands are tritium-filled and period correct. Supplied on a leather strap with Rolex buckle; box only. A matching 18k President bracelet can be arranged (price adjusted). Additional macros on request.
