Rolex Lady-Datejust ref. 6916/8 in 18k yellow gold, 1974 (serial 3171xxx). Introduced as the compact sibling to the Datejust, the Lady-Datejust of the early 1970s combined the 26 mm case with a cyclops date and plexiglass. Reference 6916/8 features the smooth domed bezel and, in this example, an uncommon hard-stone dial.
The dial is Tiger’s Eye with its distinctive banded structure—no lume by design—with matching gold hands without lume. The case remains well preserved with light wear and readable edges; plexi is clean. Powered by the automatic Rolex cal. 2035 with date.
