Patek Philippe Nautilus "Sigma"
The reference 4700 is the smaller companion to Gérald Genta's 1976 Nautilus design, carrying Patek Philippe's sporting-luxury language into a format made for daily wear. This example arrives in a two-tone execution of steel and 18k yellow gold, its identity fixed by the white Sigma dial, a period collector note that marks an otherwise clean and balanced piece. Inside the 27mm case runs the quartz calibre E19C.
The plain white dial stays uncluttered, its applied Roman numerals and matching hands easy to read against the light surface, with a flat date window worked into the layout at three. The rounded, ear-lugged case gives the 4700 its unmistakable Nautilus profile, and the watch is fitted on a two-tone steel and yellow gold bracelet closing with a folding deployant clasp. The mix of warm gold and cool steel is the whole point of the reference.
The case, dial and bracelet are presented in clean, well-kept order, with no notable marks. It comes with its original box, and an Extract from the Archives has been requested and will be delivered to the buyer after purchase, confirming the origins of this early Nautilus.
